Porto Colom and Cala Marçal

Porto Colom is one of the largest natural ports of Mallorca, and it was ones a refuge for the travellers of the Mare Nostrum.

At just 11 Km. from the interesting town of Felanitx and 60 Km from the capital Palma, it is now one of the most attractive corners of the island.

Porto Colom still retains the appearance of a fishing village with picturesque areas with a distinctly nautical feel.

Its lighthouse, built in 1860, rises proudly 42 metres above sea-level, accentuating the beauty of this Mediterranean port where the local handicrafts, colourful dances, delicious food and delightful people reflect the traditions of the Mallorcan way of life.
